Quality Control Inspector - Piping

Job Overview

We are currently looking for a seasoned Quality Control Inspector specialized in piping to join our team for a project located in the Eastern Province of Saudi Arabia. This role requires comprehensive inspection and verification tasks to ensure adherence to project and industry quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out quality control inspections of piping installations following project specifications, Saudi Aramco standards, and international codes.
• Confirm that materials, fabrication, installation, and testing processes comply with approved methods and established quality criteria.
• Perform visual checks and oversee hydrostatic, pneumatic, and other essential testing procedures.
• Ensure all piping operations conform to SAEP-385 and other pertinent Saudi Aramco Engineering Procedures.
• Examine drawings, Inspection and Test Plans (ITPs), and various quality documents.
• Document inspection findings, maintain quality records, and prepare necessary reports.
• Liaise with construction teams, engineering departments, and client representatives to address and resolve quality-related concerns.

Qualifications and Requirements

• Possess a diploma or bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
• Maintain 8 to 10 years of experience as a Quality Control Piping Inspector.
• Demonstrated background in Oil & Gas project environments.
• Must be a Saudi Aramco approved QC Piping Inspector.
• Applicants should have a valid Saudi Aramco SAP Number.
• Deep understanding of SAEP-385 and Saudi Aramco quality standards.
