Quality Auditor, ASQ Certified

Overview

The ASQ Certified Quality Auditor plays a critical role in ensuring that an organization's systems, processes, and products meet both industry standards and internal company regulations. This position involves comprehensive evaluation of Quality Management Systems to guarantee consistent delivery of safe, compliant, and high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities

• Assess the company's Quality Management System (QMS) to verify that policies are appropriately documented and adhered to.
• Plan, carry out, and document audits on internal procedures, supplier protocols, and regulatory compliance frameworks such as ISO 9001.
• Identify areas of non-compliance or deviation from established standards and protocols.
• Analyze root causes of quality issues and recommend effective corrective actions for improvement.
• Communicate audit findings clearly to management, ensuring corrective measures are implemented and validated.

Requirements

• Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) credential.
• At least three years of experience in a quality control or assurance role.
• Strong attention to detail along with excellent problem-solving capabilities.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills for teamwork and independent work situations.
• Knowledge of ISO 9001 or equivalent quality management standards.
• Prior experience working with government contracts is advantageous.
