Role Overview
The Quality Assurance Quality Control Manager will oversee and enhance quality standards for all operations and retail brands within Lals Group, based in the United Arab Emirates. This full-time, on-site position is responsible for formulating and executing QA/QC policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with both internal policies and external quality mandates. The role includes leading quality audits, inspections, and testing activities, leveraging data analysis to detect trends, and driving corrective and preventive measures.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and implement robust QA/QC policies, procedures, and manuals.
- Conduct and lead quality audits, inspections, and testing activities across the group.
- Analyze quality data and reporting to identify trends and systemic issues.
- Implement corrective and preventive actions to address quality deficiencies.
- Work closely with operations, merchandising, supply chain, and mall management teams to maintain consistent product and service quality.
- Provide training to staff regarding quality standards, guidelines, and best practices.
- Generate regular performance reports for senior management and support initiatives aimed at continuous improvement.
Qualifications and Skills
- Demonstrable experience managing Quality Assurance and Quality Control functions, including policy creation and audit framework development.
- In-depth knowledge of quality standards and methodologies such as ISO, Six Sigma, and lean principles.
- Proven analytical and reporting capabilities with an ability to interpret data, perform root cause analysis, and recommend solutions.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, including mentoring, training, and cross-department collaboration.
- Excellent communication skills both written and verbal, with a keen eye for detail and thorough documentation.
- Experience in retail, mall management, distribution, or related industries within the GCC region is advantageous.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Quality Management, Business Administration, or a comparable discipline is required; additional professional certifications are preferable.
- Capability to work onsite in the UAE and handle multiple priorities in a dynamic environment.
