Quality Assurance Engineer

Position Details

We are looking for a Quality Assurance Engineer for a contract role offering remote work flexibility, with hourly pay ranging from $30 to $80. The weekly time commitment varies between 10 to 40 hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and update comprehensive test plans, test cases, and related documentation conforming to project needs.
• Execute various testing types including functional, regression, user acceptance, exploratory, and cross-browser testing on web and mobile platforms, notably the LINE application.
• Perform detailed API testing while collaborating with development teams to verify integration points.
• Identify and log defects using standard defect tracking systems, providing clear, actionable bug reports.
• Engage in Agile workflows, including sprint planning, to guarantee the delivery of high-quality software throughout the software development and testing life cycles.
• Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams ensuring all requirements are comprehensively understood and fulfilled, utilizing strong communication skills.

Candidate Requirements

• Proven experience in manual testing of web or mobile applications.
• Capability to design and implement test cases, plans, and generate exhaustive test documentation.
• Expertise in regression, functional, exploratory, and user acceptance testing.
• Proficient in defect tracking and bug reporting as well as cross-browser testing techniques.
• Firm understanding of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), Software Testing Life Cycle (STLC), and Agile methodologies.
• Hands-on experience conducting API and mobile application testing.
• Strong attention to detail complemented by excellent verbal and written communication skills.
