Role Overview
We seek a QA Engineer to join our Product & Engineering team, focusing on ensuring high-quality delivery of our Salesforce-based legal software. This pivotal role integrates AI-driven testing processes where AI handles initial test passes and human expertise focuses on reviewing AI outcomes, exploratory and edge-case testing, and critical quality assessments. You will lead the transition to an AI-augmented QA model, using tools like Claude and GitHub Copilot as integral parts of the testing workflow.
Key Responsibilities
- Validate AI-generated test results, assessing accuracy, completeness, and identifying false positives or negatives.
- Perform manual and targeted exploratory testing on complex or high-risk workflows, integration points, and scenarios beyond AI coverage.
- Own the QA strategy, including test planning, risk evaluation, and release readiness for your agile squad.
- Develop and maintain Playwright automated tests adhering to Page Object Model patterns, aiming for 80% coverage.
- Utilize AI development tools to generate test cases, write automation scripts, and troubleshoot issues.
- Document defects clearly and collaborate on product enhancement suggestions.
- Engage with development, product management, and delivery teams throughout the Software Development Lifecycle.
- Communicate effectively, multitask across projects independently.
- Work alongside Customer Support to resolve intricate application issues.
Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years experience in QA, including both manual and automated testing.
- At least 2 years hands-on with Playwright preferable, or strong familiarity with frameworks like Cypress, Selenium, or WebdriverIO with a willingness to learn Playwright.
- Experience crafting test plans, defining test strategies, and making risk-informed release decisions.
- Proficient with Jira and test management tools like Xray.
- Skilled at bug tracking, sprint board management, and defect classification.
- Comfortable functioning in dynamic Agile/Scrum environments.
- Strong communicator with clear articulation of issues and priorities.
- Ability to coordinate testing activities across multiple teams.
Preferred Extras
- 4+ years with Playwright automation.
- Experience testing Salesforce or related enterprise applications.
- Familiarity with Salesforce debugging tools or platform diagnostics.
- Background in legal tech or document management software.
- Knowledge of CI/CD integrations with automated tests.
- Understanding of AI testing specifics such as output validation and hallucination detection.
Compensation
Estimated base salary ranges between 100000 and 110000 USD annually, with eligibility for bonuses and benefits. Salary determination considers experience, skills, and internal equity. Flexibility exists to adjust salary based on candidate profile.
