Prompt Engineer

About the Role

We are seeking an Agentic AI Expert to work remotely on a contract basis. The position offers flexible hours from 10 to 40 per week with compensation ranging from $50 to $100 per hour. The candidate will be located in the United States.

Key Responsibilities

• Leverage autonomous AI coding agents to carry out and meticulously document sophisticated software engineering tasks.
• Plan, develop, debug, and refine code alongside AI agents, providing thorough feedback on their outputs.
• Assess AI-generated code for errors and identify improvement opportunities.
• Contrast results from different AI systems and compile observations on their reasoning and performance quality.
• Compose best practice guidelines and comprehensive process documentation focused on AI agent workflows to ensure clarity and repeatability.
• Offer critical feedback regarding agentic development environments, including coding assistants and automation platforms.

Required Qualifications

• Proven ability to delegate intricate technical tasks to AI systems and enhance their output quality.
• Expertise in prompt engineering and evaluating AI-produced code outputs.
• Professional background in software engineering, DevOps, data science, machine learning engineering, or technical automation.
• Knowledge of agentic development environments and familiarity with leading AI coding assistant tools.
• Strong proficiency in written and spoken English for clear documentation and communication.
• Experience working with multiple AI-driven development systems and tools.
