Role Overview

The Data Center Project Manager is pivotal in enhancing the operational efficiency and longevity of Yondr's EMEA data center campuses. This role requires managing construction activities within active data centers, ensuring uninterrupted service and resilience while overseeing various project phases including planning, contract handling, execution, and closure. Creativity, technical expertise, and relevant experience are essential to solving complex challenges in this position.

Main Responsibilities

• Oversee multi-disciplinary modifications within existing data centers, including installation or upgrades of equipment.
• Develop project scopes for Requests for Proposals (RFPs).
• Prepare capital expenditure requests for enhancement projects.
• Collaborate with vendors to design reliable, repeatable, and predictable solutions.
• Coordinate with partner teams and stakeholders to schedule work implementation to avoid disrupting customer services or regular operations.
• Ensure project turnover includes comprehensive documentation like warranties, redlines, procedures, and operation sequences.
• Assist in root cause analysis for any failures during the project phases.
• Maintain Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and Service Level Agreements (SLAs) with customers and key stakeholders.
• Build and sustain positive relationships with vendors and customers.
• Support proper document management during project closeout.

Qualifications and Experience

• Demonstrated expertise in planning and managing projects effectively.
• PMP certification is preferred but not mandatory.
• Technical knowledge encompassing mechanical, electrical, fire protection/detection systems, and building automated controls.
• Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in English.
• Sound judgment with strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
• Proficiency with Office 365 suite.
• Minimum of five years’ experience in a similar role within a critical operational environment.
