Role Overview

The Project Manager position is a full-time role based onsite in Naqamte. The incumbent will be responsible for planning, executing, and overseeing projects that advance ethio telecom's communication and digital services. Key duties include defining project goals and scope, scheduling, resource allocation, and timeline management to ensure successful project completions.

Key Responsibilities

Daily responsibilities include managing budgets, monitoring progress, addressing risks, and ensuring adherence to both company standards and external regulations. The Project Manager will coordinate closely with cross-departmental teams, handle stakeholder communication, report on project developments, ensure quality in inspections, and expedite activities. Additionally, the role involves ongoing process enhancements, recording lessons learned, and providing logistical support to guarantee smooth project operations.

Qualifications and Skills

• Proven proficiency in project management including planning, execution, risk mitigation, and stakeholder engagement.
• Experience managing expediting functions to ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials, services, and milestones.
• Familiarity with inspection procedures to uphold quality and regulatory compliance throughout projects.
• Background in logistics management for resource coordination, shipment oversight, and onsite operations.
• A bachelor’s degree in Project Management, Engineering, Business, or a related discipline, or commensurate experience.
• Skilled in project management software and capable of preparing and interpreting comprehensive project reports.
• Strong analytical mindset, organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, acute attention to detail, and effective time management.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, with an ability to collaborate across diverse teams.
• Experience within telecommunications, infrastructure, or digital transformation projects is considered beneficial.
