About the Role

This Project Leader position plays a vital role in driving technology projects from start through successful delivery, ensuring alignment with strategic goals and adherence to quality, budget, and timeline expectations. You will act as the key point of contact leading cross-functional teams to meet project milestones.
Key Responsibilities
- Design detailed project plans outlining scope, schedule, and resource allocations, managing daily task execution to meet targets.
- Lead and coordinate diverse teams, fostering collaboration and effective communication for smooth project advancement.
- Anticipate, evaluate, and address potential risks and challenges, making critical decisions and escalating issues as required.
- Serve as the main interface between project teams and stakeholders, providing clear status updates and managing expectations.
- Ensure deliverables comply with governance and quality standards, overseeing final handover of technology solutions to business units.
Candidate Profile
- Proven leadership skills to motivate and guide both technical and non-technical team members.
- Ability to align project efforts with broader business and technological strategies through strategic thinking.
- Strong understanding of software development lifecycle, current technology frameworks, and project management methodologies such as Agile and Scrum.
- Keen attention to detail in all planning, tracking, and documentation processes.
- Excellent interpersonal abilities to build relationships and encourage teamwork among varied stakeholders.
- Flexibility to adapt to evolving project requirements and shifting priorities.
- Proactive mindset to resolve issues before they impact project progress.
- Clear and effective communication skills, capable of conveying complex information to a diverse audience.
- Exceptional time management skills to juggle multiple complex projects efficiently under pressure.
Required Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, Telecommunications, or a related discipline.
- 1 to 3 years of professional experience in project management or team leadership roles within technology environments.
- Familiarity with telecommunications sector and its digital services.
- Certifications such as Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified ScrumMaster (CSM), or equivalent Agile/project management credentials are preferred.
