Job Overview
We are seeking a Production Manager to oversee daily manufacturing operations and ensure production targets are met efficiently with high quality standards in Mumbai, Maharashtra.
Key Responsibilities
- Organize and supervise daily production schedules to meet set goals.
- Maximize effective use of labor, machinery, and raw materials.
- Monitor product quality and enforce compliance with company standards.
- Collaborate closely with Purchasing, Stores, Quality Assurance, Sales, and Dispatch teams.
- Reduce downtime, scrap, and rework through ongoing process improvements.
- Schedule and ensure timely maintenance of machinery and equipment.
- Maintain accurate production documentation, reports, and records.
- Implement safety protocols, maintain housekeeping standards, and adhere to statutory regulations on the production floor.
- Lead, mentor, and manage the production workforce.
- Compile and present production performance updates to senior management.
Educational and Experience Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Production, Industrial Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Prior relevant experience in manufacturing or production management fields.
Technical and Soft Skills
- Competency in MS Office tools and general computer applications.
- Familiarity with ERP software is advantageous.
- Exceptional leadership abilities, strategic planning, communication, and problem-solving skills.
