About the company
Minor Figures began in 2014 with the launch of the first shelf-stable cold brew. Since then, the business has focused on developing inventive, plant-based products aimed at building a more enjoyable future for consumers. Its Barista Oat range is stocked in more than 10,000 independent coffee shops worldwide, and the wider product line is available in thousands of stores across four continents. The company has held B Corp certification since 2022.
As the business continues to expand quickly, it is looking for curious, bold, and creative people who enjoy fresh ideas and different ways of thinking. The team values individuality, diverse perspectives, and a collaborative spirit.
About the role
This position is based at the Walthamstow production site and covers a broad range of warehouse and manufacturing tasks. The successful candidate will become highly capable across production activities and act as the lead person on shift. The work centres on making food-safe products to schedule, monitoring stock from raw materials through to finished goods, and handling a blend of practical production work, machine operation, and computer-based record keeping for production, deliveries, and dispatches.
The role is physically demanding and takes place in a warehouse with no temperature control. It requires long periods on your feet, comfort with manual work, and a flexible attitude toward shifts and scheduling, as production needs may change or arise at short notice.
Responsibilities
- Oversee day-to-day production across several products.
- Keep machinery and work areas clean, safe, and in proper working order.
- Make sure all output meets strict food safety and quality requirements.
- Maintain accurate logs for production, deliveries, and despatches.
- Carry out routine equipment maintenance.
Team structure
You will be part of the production and warehousing team and report to Lorenzo, the Production and Warehouse Manager. The team supports products for all markets and regions where the company operates.
About you
The company is looking for someone who enjoys working with others, learns quickly, and is comfortable in an environment where every day can look different. You should be adaptable, confident tackling problems directly, and willing to get involved wherever needed. The role suits a self-starter who can work well in a small team, support colleagues, and ask for help when needed.
You should already have experience in a food or beverage production setting and be keen to join a smaller growing team where you can gain broad exposure. The role involves leading multiple types of machinery, especially packaging equipment, and keeping all paperwork current in line with SALSA accreditation. A willingness to take on new responsibilities and build new skills is important.
Working pattern and location
You will be based at the East London production and warehouse facility. This is a full-time, on-site role Monday to Friday. Shift hours are generally 9:00 am to 5:30 pm, although the schedule may change over time.
Benefits
- 25 days of annual leave plus bank holidays, with up to 5 days carried over to the next year.

- Complimentary Calm app membership for you and your family.
- Parental leave policy.
- NEST pension scheme.
- Share options available to employees.
- Free coffee and oat milk.
- Vegan lunch and snacks when in the office.
- 30% staff discount on all orders.
- Cycle-to-work scheme.
