Role overview

The Product Operations & Implementation Lead will take ownership of techno-functional implementation and business-system rollouts across the travel technology stack. This is an individual contributor position, not a software development role.

Key responsibilities

  • Coordinate booking engine and product implementations end to end, working with external vendors and internal teams.
  • Convert business needs into functional workflows, system requirements, and clear implementation milestones.
  • Lead user acceptance testing, track issues, follow up on bugs, and manage change requests.
  • Check booking flows, payment flows, wallet and ledger logic, markup calculations, reporting, user roles, and admin-panel functionality.
  • Build SOPs, process notes, issue trackers, and rollout-related documentation.
  • Partner with Operations, Finance, Sales, CRM, and vendor teams to support smooth implementation and adoption.
  • Assess and refine B2B, B2C, admin, CMS, pricing, and reporting processes.
  • Support readiness for implementation, go-live planning, and stabilization after launch.
  • Make sure system configurations match business processes, commercial rules, and operational controls.

Candidate profile

The ideal candidate will bring 5 to 9 years of relevant experience in techno-functional implementation, product operations, business systems, CRM or process implementation, or platform rollout work.

Experience in requirement gathering, UAT, process mapping, vendor coordination, and system implementation is important. The role also requires comfort working with admin panels, workflows, reports, access control, issue resolution, and business documentation.

The person in this role should be able to connect business and technology teams effectively, stay detail-oriented, and independently drive implementation follow-ups.

Experience in travel technology, booking engines, B2B/B2C platforms, CRM systems, or OTA/DMC environments is preferred. Exposure to reporting, change management, SOP creation, and rollout management will be valuable.

Candidates from adjacent industries may also be considered if they have strong techno-functional implementation experience. A process-driven mindset and strong ownership are essential.
