Role Overview: Product Manager for SEED
SEED (Security Suite for Engineering Endpoint Devices) is a Singapore Government platform securing engineering endpoints through zero trust principles. Already operational on thousands of devices, SEED serves a diverse group including traditional software teams and AI-driven development groups. The platform covers secure remote access, productivity tools, and AI-powered security operations, with the goal to remain secure, seamless, and adaptive to emerging threats and user demands.
Key Responsibilities
- Oversee SEED’s product roadmap, managing its operation as a live platform that balances strong security with engineer productivity.
- Enhance the onboarding experience to reduce time and obstacles for engineers moving from device assignment to compliance and productivity.
- Drive integration with related products such as TechPass, GCC, and M365 to form a unified engineering experience, defining clear feature boundaries and integration approaches.
- Identify security controls that impede engineers and implement solutions to automate compliance and streamline error handling, including AI-based analysis to reduce noise.
- Stay ahead of evolving engineering workflows, including AI-assisted and agentic systems, ensuring SEED adapts to new security and productivity requirements.
- Collaborate closely with adjacent product teams to unify engineering device lifecycle management including identity, device management, and security.
- Execute continuous improvement cycles focusing on enrolment, policy enforcement, monitoring, and user self-service features with cross-functional teams.
- Engage stakeholders across government agencies to understand friction points and develop standardized onboarding and operational procedures.
- Define and track operational success metrics such as compliance times, exception volumes, false positives, and support ticket trends to measure platform effectiveness.
- Partner with cybersecurity teams to align SEED development with government-wide security strategies.
- Develop comprehensive instrumentation to monitor user journeys end-to-end and proactively address issues before they escalate.
- Lead deployment of new SEED capabilities across diverse government agencies with varied technology maturity levels.
Desired Profile
- Independent and driven product manager with solid fundamentals seeking continuous personal and professional growth.
- 4 to 8 years of product management experience, preferably with demonstrated success in complex, stakeholder-rich environments; exceptional candidates earlier in their careers also considered.
- Proven ability to deliver impactful products or initiatives within large organizations requiring navigation of both top-down directives and bottom-up adoption.
- Comfortable managing ambiguity, balancing strategic vision and tactical execution effectively.
- Excellent communication skills for diverse audiences, ranging from senior leaders to engineering teams.
- Experience with security technologies, zero trust architectures, endpoint management, or enterprise platforms is advantageous.
