Product Designer (User Experience Design)

About the Role

Pacer Group seeks a seasoned Product Designer specializing in User Experience Design for a 12-month contract based in Toronto, Ontario. The position involves a hybrid work model requiring two days onsite weekly.

Key Responsibilities and Profile

• Design and develop comprehensive digital product designs with a focus on user experience, suited for complex enterprise applications, SaaS platforms, and data-rich environments.
• Employ expertise in UX/UI tools such as Figma, Sketch, and similar software to prototype and iterate design solutions.
• Apply user-centered design principles, including wireframing, prototyping, interaction design, and maintenance of design systems, ensuring best practices are followed.
• Collaborate across departments with Product Managers, Engineers, and Business Stakeholders to guide the product through its lifecycle efficiently and effectively.

Required Qualifications

• At least 5 years of practical experience in Product Design, UX Design, or Interaction Design supported by a robust portfolio demonstrating measurable business outcomes.
• Demonstrable experience in designing intricate and scalable digital products in the BFSI sector or related fields.
• Competence with modern design and prototyping tools including Figma and Sketch.
• Strong grounding in user-centered design methodologies and interaction design best practices.

Compensation and Contract Details

The role offers an hourly pay rate between CAD 38 and 40, with an incorporated employment arrangement. The contract duration is 12 months.
