Role Overview

We seek a Product Designer passionate about building user-friendly digital experiences that solve real-world challenges. In this role, you will focus on creating intuitive and valuable solutions for electric vehicles, ensuring alignment with user needs and business objectives.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop deep expertise in map, routing, and navigation functionalities, including route quality, charging-aware navigation, rerouting, and the practical challenges EV drivers face.
• Gain a comprehensive understanding of the EV charging landscape, encompassing user requirements, multiple stakeholders, charging workflows, and operational constraints affecting the product experience.
• Define and continuously evolve the user experience of assigned digital products within your domain.
• Transform product goals and user needs into clear, intuitive, and effective designs.
• Conduct user research and analyze both qualitative and quantitative data to uncover opportunities and unmet needs.
• Create detailed user journeys, wireframes, mockups, prototypes, and other design deliverables.
• Organize and facilitate usability tests and other validation methods to ensure quality and effectiveness of designs.
• Identify potential usability challenges, propose improvements, and validate the implemented solutions.
• Collaborate closely with Product Managers and Engineering teams to ensure designs are technically feasible and aligned with business goals.
• Communicate the reasoning and decisions behind designs clearly to stakeholders to guide better team decisions.
• Produce ready-for-production specifications, assets, and prototypes to support development and implementation.
• Contribute actively to a user-focused product vision and strive for continuous enhancement of the customer experience.

Candidate Profile

• Relevant experience designing platform, service, and ecosystem-based products with complex integrations across vehicles, mobile applications, backend systems, partner interfaces, and various operational considerations.
• In-depth knowledge of map, routing, and navigation experiences, especially accounting for route optimization, charging-aware routing, rerouting, and real-world EV driving scenarios.
• Strong expertise in the EV charging domain, including understanding user demands, interacting ecosystem participants, charging processes, and related operational limits.
• Educational background in Interaction Design, UX Design, Service Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Design, or equivalent professional experience.
• Proven professional experience in UX, Product Design, or Interaction Design for digital solutions and services.
• Experience collaborating effectively within cross-functional product teams alongside Product Management and Engineering members.
• Deep understanding of user-centered design principles and research methodologies.
• Capability to perform user research and convert insights into practical design solutions.
• Proficiency in crafting user flows, wireframes, prototypes, and delivering polished, high-fidelity designs.
• Excellent communication skills and strong stakeholder management abilities.
• Clear grasp of how technical limitations and business imperatives impact design decisions.
