Product Designer

Role Overview

As a Product Designer specializing in AI systems, you will be responsible for crafting the user interfaces where people interact with our AI technology, focusing on building trust, managing uncertainty, and ensuring human control. Beyond our marketing website, the product design challenges are complex and impactful.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the product design process for AI platforms including designing user flows, UI components, and interaction models.
• Create designs that convey trustworthiness by clearly communicating confidence levels, data sources, and options for human override.
• Develop and sustain a scalable design system applicable across multiple client projects.
• Rapidly prototype designs directly in browser technologies and collaborate closely with engineering teams on implementation.
• Drive a high standard of design quality in all deliverables associated with our brand.

Candidate Profile

• Minimum of four years' experience in product design with a demonstrated portfolio showcasing shipped complex software solutions.
• Exceptional systems thinking ability with keen attention to typography, layout, and animation/motion design.
• Proficient in front-end technologies such as HTML and CSS, with familiarity in React preferred, enabling real UI prototyping and refinement.
• Capable of designing for ambiguous scenarios, handling data-intensive interfaces, and addressing edge cases beyond typical demo conditions.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous involvement in designing AI products, data-heavy interfaces, or tools aimed at developers.
• Skillful in motion and interaction design to create engaging user experiences.
