About the Role

In this role, you will uphold Walmart’s core values by delivering outstanding customer service, maintaining and organizing the produce section, and supporting product stocking and sales activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Organize and zone the produce department efficiently.
• Rotate stock regularly while inspecting items for expiration.
• Ensure all products are accurately priced and labeled.
• Follow food safety standards, including cold chain compliance, thermometer calibration, temperature monitoring, food handling protocols, product rotation, and sell-by date management.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation according to established procedures.
• Manage ordering, clearance processes, price adjustments, and signage effectively.
• Keep the department fully stocked and prepared for customers.
• Adhere strictly to health and safety regulations.
• Stock merchandise diligently, carry out downstocking when needed, apply necessary product protection, and perform modular setups including flexible modulars and shelf capacity adjustments.

Compensation

The starting hourly wage for this position is $18.05.

Minimum Requirements

• Applicants must be at least 16 years old.
