Role Overview
This position sits within a major global energy services company that focuses on innovation, growth, and leadership development. The role supports plant-level sourcing activities for manufacturing, field operations, technology, and project management.
Key Duties
- Coordinate the sourcing of goods and services under direct supervision to support operational and project needs.
- Apply category management plans in line with internal policies and procedures.
- Raise purchase orders against requirements coming from manufacturing, field operations, or project teams.
- Put local procurement agreements into action for items and services outside category management coverage.
- Prepare RFQs and run competitive supplier bidding to secure the best combination of quality, delivery, and price.
- Review and monitor supplier performance.
- Carry out assigned work with attention to how it affects cost control, efficiency, profitability, and overall operations.
Experience and Qualification Requirements
A bachelor’s degree in a technical, business, or related field is required. The employer is looking for candidates with at least 2 years of experience in procurement or a production setting. An advanced procurement credential such as CPM is preferred. Familiarity with purchase-to-pay processes is considered an advantage.
