Role Overview
The Principal Quality Engineer will spearhead quality engineering efforts to uphold quality assurance and control standards as guided by the QHSE Director. The aim is to deliver compliant, superior products and projects while fostering a culture of continuous enhancement and operational excellence.
Core Responsibilities
- Designing and deploying quality assurance frameworks ensuring strict adherence to quality benchmarks.
- Supervising quality control procedures to certify that products and projects comply with specified requirements.
- Leading initiatives for continuous quality performance improvement across operations.
- Handling non-conformance documentation alongside corrective and preventive action implementation.
- Oversight of supplier quality to maintain compliance with established standards.
- Executing both internal and external quality audits aligned with QHSE protocols.
- Recognizing potential quality risks and instituting measures to mitigate them, protecting project results.
Qualifications & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or an allied discipline.
- At least 10 to 12 years of escalating experience in quality engineering or QA/QC functions, demonstrating comprehensive knowledge of quality systems, audit processes, and continuous improvement in manufacturing or project-driven settings.
- Possession of professional credentials such as ISO 9001 Lead Auditor or Six Sigma is desirable.
