About the Role

A prestigious K-12 school in Bengaluru is seeking an experienced Principal to steer its ICSE curriculum division, aiming to uphold and enhance academic excellence, foster innovative and student-centered education, and lead the school towards superior outcomes.

Key Accountabilities

• Provide strategic and visionary leadership aligned with the institution's mission and core values.
• Manage academic planning, oversee curriculum implementation, monitor assessments, and drive continuous quality improvements.
• Champion excellence in teaching, learning processes, and student performance across all grades.
• Lead faculty recruitment, mentoring, coaching, evaluation, and promote ongoing professional development initiatives.
• Create and maintain a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment conducive to effective learning.
• Establish strong, collaborative relationships with parents, students, staff, and other key stakeholders.
• Ensure full adherence to ICSE guidelines and best educational practices.
• Collaborate with departments such as Admissions, HR, Finance, and Administration to supervise day-to-day school operations.
• Encourage the integration of technology, innovation, and hands-on learning experiences.
• Represent the school at educational forums and bolster its standing within the academic community.

Requirements

• Postgraduate qualification in Education or related fields; B.Ed. or M.Ed. qualifications are preferred.
• Extensive experience of 15 to 20 years in the K-12 education sector with demonstrated leadership roles in ICSE-affiliated schools.
• Proven background in roles such as Principal, Vice Principal, Head of School, or Senior Academic Leader.
• Deep knowledge of the ICSE curriculum structures, pedagogy, evaluation methods, and compliance mandates.
• Track record of enhancing academic standards and fostering institutional development.
• Strong leadership, communication, stakeholder engagement, and team-building capabilities.
• Exemplary integrity, emotional intelligence, and strategic vision.
