Job Summary

The Pre-Primary Teacher is responsible for conducting engaging and enriching learning sessions for young children, following the approved curriculum and lesson plans. This role demands creativity to make classes enjoyable and stimulating while ensuring children remain constructively occupied throughout sessions.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver learning sessions according to structured lesson plans, enhancing the classroom experience with innovative activities.
• Prepare and plan lesson activities well in advance, adhering to approvals from the Curriculum team.
• Maintain accurate reports and records for each child to track progress and development.
• Utilize class resources efficiently to minimize waste.
• Contribute to improving the classroom environment through age-appropriate displays and learning materials that foster engagement.
• Comply with all school policies consistently.
• Ensure ongoing communication with parents to keep them informed about their child’s progress.
• Conduct routine observations and assessments to monitor children's learning and development.
• Collaborate with colleagues to organize events, trips, and celebrations as per the events calendar.
• Maintain a safe, healthy, hygienic, and secure environment for all children.
• Provide guidance and feedback to assistant teachers and support staff as needed.
• Report any concerns or issues promptly to the centre head.
• Engage with parents to discuss their child’s developmental progress and address queries or concerns.

Additional Information

This position is based in Pune, Maharashtra, India. Monthly remuneration ranges from INR 17,000 to 20,000. The role requires dedication to child safety and ensuring adherence to official school protocols at all times.
