About the role
German employer is hiring bakers for a long-term position in Hoppegarten near Berlin, Germany, under a German employment contract. The work follows a 3-shift system and is intended as stable, ongoing employment with a full social benefits package.
Working conditions
Employment is scheduled to begin on 22.06.2026, 29.06.2026, and then regularly every following Monday. The assignment is based in the Hoppegarten area near Berlin. The pay is 16 EUR gross per hour plus a daily allowance of 20 EUR net for each working day.
Housing can be arranged by the employer. Accommodation costs are either paid by the worker or covered by the employer and then deducted from the worker’s salary. Accommodation is provided in single rooms.
Health and pension insurance are included as required by law. Weekly salary advances can be requested. Wages are paid on time, by the 15th day of each month. The worker is responsible for work clothing and safety shoes. Travel costs to Germany are paid by the employee.
Candidate profile
The baker qualification itself is not mandatory, but several years of experience in the bakery sector is required. Candidates must have German language skills at industry level A2 and must own a car.
Job duties
- Bake artisan bread, rolls, and a variety of traditional German baked goods according to assigned recipes.
- Prepare, knead, and portion dough, including yeast dough, puff pastry, and sourdough-based bread dough.
- Operate, program, and monitor modern bakery ovens and equipment such as mixers, dividers, and dough sheeters.
- Check finished products for quality, including appearance, baking level, and weight, and present them neatly for sale.
- Follow German hygiene and safety rules carefully, keeping machines and the work area clean.
- Prepare ingredients and semi-finished products for the next shift and plan work ahead.
