About NHS Lanarkshire

Serving approximately 655,000 people across both rural and urban parts of North and South Lanarkshire, the organization is made up of Acute Services operating across three main hospitals, Corporate & Property & Support Services, and integrated Health and Social Care Partnerships to support communities in primary healthcare and social care.
Position Overview
The role involves working as a key member of the Physiotherapy Team, delivering competent, safe, and effective assessment, advice, and treatment to patients. The position may involve either a role with a rotational pattern every four months or a fixed post.
Working Schedule
The working hours for this role are Monday through Friday during daytime.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain professional and legal accountability for all work performed, including direct and indirect patient care.
- Assess patient capacity, obtain valid consent, and work within legal guidelines for patients unable to provide consent.
- Delegate and supervise tasks for Physiotherapy Support Workers to optimize efficiency and treatment outcomes.
- Engage actively in team and specialist in-service training to encourage personal and professional growth.
Required Qualifications and Skills
- Registered Physiotherapist holding valid HCPC registration.
- Strong teamwork abilities combined with the capability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, listening, and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams.
- Possession of a full UK/EU/EEA driving license and access to a vehicle.
