Role Overview

This position centers on delivering exceptional customer service within Tesco's pharmacy department, involving a supportive team environment and handling daily pharmacy operations with care and precision.

Work Schedule

• Tuesday: 13:00 to 19:30
• Wednesday: 09:00 to 17:30
• Thursday: 15:00 to 21:00
• Saturday: 09:00 to 21:00

Key Duties

• Assist in running a modern Tesco Pharmacy by collaborating effectively with the team.
• Dispense prescription medications with accuracy and an emphasis on customer well-being.
• Offer courteous and knowledgeable advice regarding medicines, minor ailments, and pharmacy services.
• Recognize customer needs and recommend appropriate products responsibly.
• Handle inquiries efficiently within your capability and escalate complex issues as necessary.
• Maintain cleanliness and organizational standards, complying strictly with Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ensure all prescription-related documentation is processed correctly and promptly.
• Support company promotions and initiatives with enthusiasm.

Qualifications and Skills

• Prior experience or relevant qualifications in a pharmacy environment is required.
• A strong interest in professional growth within the pharmacy sector.
• Demonstrated passion for outstanding customer service, greeting customers warmly and assisting them confidently.
• Ability to quickly establish rapport with customers to make them feel supported and reassured.
• Good judgment for customer care decisions, including product guidance and referral to pharmacists when necessary.
• Positive, collaborative attitude, with excellent communication skills and a team-oriented approach.
