Role Overview
We are seeking a Pharmaceutical Technician to join our team in Sligo on a 12-month fixed-term contract involving rotational shift work. The role involves producing drug product materials adhering strictly to regulatory and organizational compliance standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform pharmaceutical processing tasks within manufacturing and support locations.
- Coordinate team activities to enhance overall effectiveness.
- Document all operational activities following current Good Manufacturing Practices (cGMP).
- Participate in cross-training within the team and help train new members.
- Engage in continuous improvement initiatives to upgrade quality, safety, environmental, and production systems.
- Carry out commissioning and validation protocols regularly.
- Maintain cGMP standards across pharmaceutical processing areas.
- Comply fully with Environmental, Health, Safety (EHS) standards, procedures, and policies.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a third-level qualification, preferably in Engineering or Science, or have at least two years of experience working in a GMP-regulated setting.
- Experience operating in highly automated environments is advantageous.
- Proficient IT skills are essential.
