Position Overview

The People Operations Coordinator – Recruiting will spearhead full-cycle talent acquisition, ensuring exceptional candidate experiences from initial contact through onboarding. This role partners closely with hiring managers to align staffing to business needs while managing daily People Operations tasks that sustain departmental efficiency. The position suits professionals with a solid recruiting background who thrive in relationship-building, process enhancement, and organizational excellence, aiming to advance a long-term career in People Operations.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead end-to-end recruitment for diverse roles, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, coordinating onsite visits, conducting reference checks, extending offers, and onboarding.
- Ensure professional, prompt, and engaging candidate experiences throughout hiring stages.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand role requirements and company culture alignment.
- Advise hiring teams on evaluation strategies, interview preparation, and recruitment best practices.
- Coordinate onboarding to facilitate a seamless and supportive entry for new hires.
- Handle routine People Operations activities such as HRIS updates, reporting, documentation, and administrative support.
- Assist in benefits administration, new hire paperwork, and other employee programs.
- Maintain accurate, confidential recruiting and employee records with meticulous attention to detail.
- Continuously assess and enhance recruitment and HR processes to boost efficiency and employee experience.
- Work closely with the Director of People Operations on projects and departmental initiatives.
- Foster strong relationships across the organization, delivering excellent service to leaders, staff, and candidates.
Qualifications and Experience
- Minimum 2 years managing full recruitment cycles involving sourcing, interviewing, and hiring collaboration.
- Skilled in nurturing partnerships with hiring managers and providing outstanding candidate engagement.
- Sound judgment and thoughtful hiring decision-making skills.
- Strong communication abilities—both written and verbal—and acute attention to detail.
- Exceptional organizational skills to handle multiple openings and priorities simultaneously.
- A proactive mindset focused on continuous improvement of recruiting and People Operations workflows.
Preferred Experience
- Background in fast-growing, dynamic organizational environments.
- Familiarity with onboarding, benefits management, HRIS, or related HR operational tasks.
- Experience recruiting across multiple departments and a range of skill levels.
- Use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS) and process development for recruitment and onboarding.
- Relevant HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR or equivalent education.
Compensation and Work Details
- Salary range: $65,000 to $75,000 annually, dependent on experience.
- Full-time regular role, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM (40 hours per week).
- Location: Austin, Texas, onsite.
