Job Overview
The Patient Administration Coordinator role involves overseeing and managing the patient administration services while supervising a team of patient administrators at a busy healthcare clinic.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate and oversee all patient administration processes, including medical insurance handling, billing, and cash management within the clinic.
- Lead and manage the patient administration team to ensure outstanding service delivery.
- Assist the department or business unit manager with general operational management tasks.
- Continuously enhance patient service quality to meet and exceed customer expectations.
- Foster a workplace culture prioritizing quality, health, and safety standards.
Qualifications and Experience
- Possess a relevant Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma from an accredited institution in a related field.
- Have between 2 to 3 years of supervisory experience in customer service roles, preferably within healthcare settings.
Skills and Knowledge
- Proficient in MS Office and computer literacy.
- Understanding of accounting and financial management principles.
- Familiarity with hospital information systems and patient administration systems.
- Knowledge of medical insurance terminology and processes.
- Understanding of medical terminology and procedures.
- Awareness of the UAE healthcare industry.
- Good English communication skills, with Arabic being an advantage.
