Job Duties

Qualifications and Requirements

• Hold a valid South Carolina driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Minimum of one year driving experience.
• Comfortable using GPS devices for navigation.
• Ability to comprehend and apply state laws and vehicle operational regulations on state highways.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills with attention to accurate documentation.
• Capable of working collaboratively in a team and exercising sound judgment in various situations.
• Maintain professionalism and courtesy in interactions.
• Physical ability to sit for extended durations while driving and assist passengers including handling mobility aids like folding walkers.
• Adherence to schedules, directions, and SCCB policies.

Preferred Skills and Experience

• Previous experience transporting individuals with disabilities, elderly persons, or medical-related clients.
• Familiarity with the Charleston area and nearby communities.
• Background in human services, healthcare, or government environments.
