Role Overview

If you are seeking an active, hands-on role that involves teamwork and allows you to directly see the outcomes of your efforts, this position is ideal. It requires physical activity in a fast-paced warehouse environment with shift-based hours.

Key Responsibilities

• Unload trailers and confirm freight aligns with manifests.
• Manually unload freight onto manual and powered conveyors.
• Utilize power/manual jacks to manage shipments and maintain sort lines, following mandatory certification training.
• Arrange sorting setups according to designated sort plans.
• Sort, scan, and handle packages per sort specifications.
• Operate scanning devices and technology to prepare orders efficiently.
• Place parcels in assigned areas for delivery or linehaul teams at hubs and stations.
• Stage sorted freight in load out zones following station layouts.
• Assist supervisors by completing additional assigned duties.
• Build, wrap, sort, and move pallets and packages within hub and middle-mile contexts.
• Validate sorting accuracy by checking scanned freight to reduce errors.
• Perform routine cleaning, safety checks, and housekeeping.
• Physically lift packages weighing up to 50 pounds (23 kilograms).

Work Environment and Schedule

This position is based in a fast-moving warehouse setting. The role offers a flexible schedule requiring availability at minimum three days per week, including two weekdays and one weekend day, with potential for more based on negotiation.

Compensation

Salary ranges between $20.35 and $22.18 per hour.
