Responsibilities

• Ensure compliance with and promote the company's safety and quality standards.
• Generate workpacks critical for achieving snag-free and timely module completion.
• Track fabrication and procurement progress; expedite activities to maintain module population schedules.
• Assist Supervisors and provide technical support to resolve engineering queries encountered onsite.
• Coordinate activities of MSL subcontractors and client-appointed contractors, including insulation, cladding, structural steel, electrical containment, heat tracing, and pressure testing.
• Compile weekly progress reports.
• Conduct module inspections to verify installation quality, adherence to specifications, and slope accuracy.
• Represent MSL during official client walkdowns for module release and shipping approvals.
• Monitor assigned scope of work and identify any potential out-of-scope tasks.
• Report and track any such tasks with the Project Quantity Surveyor.
• Participate in weekly progress meetings as required.
• Perform safety audits and oversee onsite safety performance.

Requirements

• Strong familiarity with piping isometrics and Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs).
• At least five years of experience in a Mechanical Engineering role, with substantial onsite construction involvement.
• Possession of an applicable engineering degree.
• Advanced technical understanding of mechanical systems and related products.
• Excellent skills in communication and reporting.
