Role Summary
The Neurofeedback Technician supports qEEG assessments and neurofeedback training by preparing clients, running sessions, and handling data carefully in line with clinical procedures. The position contributes to safe, high-quality, client-centered care by supporting interpretation workflows, maintaining accurate records, and following professional standards.

Client Support and Session Delivery
- Build trust with clients and provide a respectful, supportive care experience for people from varied backgrounds.
- Explain qEEG collection and neurofeedback training to clients so they understand what to expect.
- Carry out customized neurofeedback sessions using the clinical protocols supplied by the clinical lead.
- Track and document how clients respond during sessions and note their progress.
Clinical Data Capture and Support
- Complete individualized qEEG assessment data collection for later review and interpretation by the clinical lead.
- Record session information accurately so it can be used for clinical review and treatment planning.
Equipment, Safety, and Professional Standards
- Follow approved safety and hygiene procedures for all equipment, including cleaning, sterilizing, and reporting any faults or concerns.
- Protect client privacy and uphold ethical practice in line with clinic policies as well as provincial and federal requirements.
- Take part in required training, continuing learning, and professional development activities.
- Carry out additional duties as needed.
Qualifications
- A diploma or certification in health, neuroscience, psychology, or a related area is considered an advantage.
- Previous exposure to qEEG, neurofeedback, or brain-based therapies is preferred.
- Strong people skills and the ability to connect with clients effectively.
- Careful attention to detail, with solid data collection and documentation ability.
- Capacity to follow clinical procedures precisely and consistently.
- Awareness of confidentiality, ethics, and professional standards in a healthcare setting.
- Comfort using technical devices and clinical software.
- Good organization and the ability to handle several client sessions efficiently.

Additional Information
This is a part-time, onsite role based in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. The position reports to the Neurofeedback Operations Manager.
