Key Responsibilities

• Perform routine cleaning duties such as vacuuming, sweeping, mopping, dusting, and sanitizing shared spaces including offices, meeting rooms, and washrooms.
• Maintain hygiene standards by replenishing supplies, collecting waste, cleaning interior glass, and caring for building exterior areas.
• Execute specialized cleaning tasks including deep carpet and upholstery cleaning, operating advanced machinery like auto scrubbers and carpet extractors, and restoring hard floors through stripping and polishing.
• Carry out pressure washing of exterior surfaces, high-level dusting, and emergency cleanup related to spills or contamination.
• Assure safety by removing snow and ice hazards when necessary.
• Perform quality inspections, document completed work via photos and reports, and identify maintenance needs.
• Support site operations by assisting with washroom dispenser maintenance and managing equipment logistics across sites.
• Adhere to health, safety, and environmental protocols to promote a safe working environment.

Qualifications and Experience

• At least 3 years’ hands-on experience in commercial, industrial, or institutional cleaning settings.
• Proficient use of professional cleaning tools and machinery.
• Thorough knowledge of cleaning techniques, products, and industry standards.
• Familiarity with WHMIS and safety regulations.
• Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, and reliable transport to travel between various client locations.
• Capability to wear personal protective equipment as required.

Additional Information

This is a permanent full-time position offering an annual salary between $46,476 and $52,000, with starting pay reflecting the candidate's experience, education, and relevant skills.
