Role Overview and Responsibilities

We are looking for a driven Merchandising Intern to join our India merchandising team with a focus on production activities. The intern will be responsible for assisting in data entry for the Work In Progress (WIP) report to accurately monitor production progress. Additionally, the role includes providing routine administrative support to the merchandising team and maintaining organized documentation related to production functions. Proficiency in MS Excel is essential to perform data analysis and reporting tasks efficiently. The candidate will also collaborate with team members to promote timely communication and complete other assigned duties as needed.

• Assist with accurate data entry for production tracking via the WIP report.
• Support merchandising operations through various administrative activities.
• Leverage MS Excel skills to analyze and present data effectively.
• Maintain comprehensive and orderly production documentation.
• Collaborate with colleagues to facilitate smooth communication and workflow.
• Perform additional tasks as assigned by the team.

Candidate Profile and Requirements

• Currently enrolled in or recently graduated from a relevant degree program such as English, Textile and Garment Technology, Fashion Design, or related fields.
• Strong command of MS Excel, including advanced functions like VLOOKUP and Pivot Tables.
• Detail-focused with excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Willingness to learn and adapt in a dynamic environment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications including Word and PowerPoint.
• Effective written and spoken English communication skills.
