Job description
About the Role
We are seeking a Procurement Engineer to join our team supporting construction and MEP projects by efficiently managing procurement activities related to materials, equipment, and services.
Key Responsibilities
- Analyze project needs to develop detailed procurement schedules.
- Issue Requests for Quotations (RFQs) and secure competitive bids from suppliers.
- Perform thorough technical and commercial assessments and prepare vendor comparison reports.
- Negotiate pricing, delivery timelines, and contractual terms with suppliers.
- Create purchase orders and monitor production and delivery progress.
- Collaborate closely with engineering, logistics, finance, and on-site teams to ensure seamless procurement processes.
- Oversee supplier performance and address any issues related to delivery delays or quality concerns.
Qualifications and Skills
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
- Three to five years of procurement experience within construction or MEP environments.
- Familiarity with electrical, ELV, and ICT material procurement.
- Strong negotiation capabilities and supplier relationship management.
- Experienced in ERP software such as Odoo, SAP, and Oracle.
- Proficient in English communication.
