Job Overview

We are seeking a Mechanical Site Engineer to oversee the mechanical operations involving fabrication and erection of structural steel components in railway or highway bridge construction projects. The role demands managing onsite activities efficiently while complying with quality and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate fabrication and erection tasks of steel bridges and heavy-duty structural frameworks.
• Manage the use of cranes, launching girders, and lifting equipment to safely erect steel structures on site.
• Oversee onsite fabrication and installation of structural steel elements like girders, trusses, and box girders.
• Collaborate with consultants, contractors, and internal teams including planning, quality assurance, and safety departments.

Qualifications and Experience Required

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering (B.Tech) or a related field.
• Demonstrated 5 to 10 years of hands-on experience in site execution specifically related to steel bridge fabrication and erection within railway or highway infrastructure projects.
