This role involves delivering mechanical maintenance support for the Energy from Waste facility, ensuring seamless operations and asset reliability.

Organize, schedule, and oversee corrective and preventive maintenance tasks. Coordinate with operations to prioritize and allocate workforce, spare parts, and resources accordingly.
Direct and guide technicians in performing both preventive and corrective maintenance activities.
Diagnose and resolve critical plant issues; participate in Root Cause Analysis (RCA), plant enhancement projects, and drive cost efficiency.
Execute management initiatives focused on asset optimization and continuous improvement by adopting proactive strategies such as predictive and preventive maintenance alongside corrective actions like failure detection and redesign.
Monitor budgets, review expenditure, and enforce cost control measures.
Maintain risk registers, engage in safety inspections, promote safety initiatives, and ensure all maintenance activities comply with safety standards.
Create and maintain maintenance processes, risk assessments, and method statements to guarantee safe execution of all tasks.
Ensure compliance of maintenance works and equipment with statutory regulations.
Potential appointment to the Company's Emergency Response Team (CERT) with provided training.
Perform additional duties as assigned.

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
At least 3 years of relevant experience in process plants, power plants, or oil and gas sectors.
Highly organized with meticulous attention to detail.
Effective team collaborator capable of meeting tight deadlines.
Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation capabilities.
Proactively stays informed of emerging technologies and seeks opportunities to enhance plant performance.
Self-driven with initiative, resourcefulness, and a positive outlook.
