Job Purpose
This role involves leading the advancement and refinement of sustainable material management and planning systems. It demands collaboration with various NOC entities and representing material management processes developed via the SAP system. The position requires coordination with warehouse teams and maintenance and inspection stakeholders.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement procedures supporting maintenance material management and foster continual process improvements.
- Promote a zero-incident safety culture through strong safety practices.
- Ensure compliance with HSE regulations and company standards to safeguard workforce safety and environmental responsibility.
- Identify opportunities to optimize maintenance material management processes and operational efficiency.
- Provide expert advice and guidance to onshore and offshore personnel concerning management and movement of maintenance materials.
- Deliver administrative support related to maintenance materials to onshore and offshore teams.
- Coordinate continuously with warehouse staff to assure smooth material and equipment flow for repair, refurbishment, and stock or offshore returns.
- Collaborate with maintenance stakeholders, campaign/shutdown and base operation material coordinators on tracking and material handling.
- Manage material storage and preservation with warehouse teams to uphold robust practices.
- Oversee special tooling and turbine kit management, including liaising with contractors and warehouse personnel.
- Support repair processes by engaging with local vendors and facilities.
- Serve as a focal point for QA/QC material matters in conjunction with Technical Materials Administrators.
- Participate in warehouse and material management audits.
- Ensure coordinated management and proper documentation of certifications, employing the NOC document management system.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field.
- Extensive experience in material management, warehouse operations, logistics, and associated business processes.
- A minimum of 10 years in the Oil & Gas sector, especially within warehouse, logistics or materials management roles.
- Proven proficiency with computerized maintenance systems like SAP and PALM.
- Strong competency in Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Familiarity with Primavera planning and scheduling tools.
- Good understanding of industry process safety standards and procedures.
- Comprehensive knowledge of equipment maintenance workflows, inventory management, material planning, and warehouse practices.
- Excellent English communication skills, both verbally and in writing.
- Strong interpersonal, organizational, and coordination capabilities suitable for multidisciplinary environments.
- Analytical thinking paired with adept problem-solving and high computer literacy.
