Overview
This is a remote contract role for a Marketing Specialist based in Canada. The commitment is flexible, ranging from 10 to 40 hours per week.
Core Responsibilities
- Review real workplace communications such as chat threads, email conversations, and internal documents to pull out useful marketing insights.
- Spot and record important decisions, follow-up items, dependencies, blockers, and unresolved questions that affect marketing work.
- Create practical, multi-step tasks that mirror real knowledge-work situations in marketing, sales, or business operations.
- Bring together incomplete or unclear information by linking details across different sources and timelines.
- Draft clear prompts and grading rubrics for AI agents using authentic workplace material as the basis.
- Protect confidentiality and follow data-security practices when handling startup communications.
Required Profile
- Strong written and spoken communication skills, with the ability to explain complex ideas to different audiences.
- Hands-on experience making sense of messy marketing or business information and turning it into a structured format.
- Ability to track decisions and resolve unclear points across distributed workplace communication.
- Experience building process-based workflows and documenting multi-step projects or campaigns.
- Comfort working independently while coordinating asynchronously with a remote team.
