About the role
A founder-led independent brand is hiring a remote marketing and creative content professional to support content development, campaign execution, and partnership growth across social media, email, influencer outreach, and related channels. This position is meant for someone who wants to help shape how a values-driven brand communicates, builds community, and expands its impact.
You will work directly with the founder and contribute to a business that aims to operate as a positive force in the world. The opportunity is best suited to someone who enjoys thoughtful, mission-led work and is interested in building something lasting.
Key responsibilities
- Build campaign ideas and creative briefs for social media, email, and other marketing touchpoints.
- Transform founder concepts and raw content into polished videos and social posts.
- Edit short-form video content for social platforms.
- Draft headlines, captions, and body copy for social and email campaigns.
- Maintain a consistent brand tone and voice across channels.
- Coordinate influencer and affiliate partnerships that fit the brand’s values.
- Plan purpose-led campaigns, including fundraisers for nonprofit causes.
- Track, review, and report on performance across marketing campaigns and channels.
Preferred skills and tools
- Hands-on experience creating short-form video content for Instagram Reels or similar formats.
- Working knowledge of video editing tools such as CapCut or comparable software.
- Strong writing, editing, and copy refinement abilities.
- Comfort using AI tools for ideation, research, editing, and content support.
- Willingness to learn tools for social scheduling, email marketing, and creator partnership workflows.
- Good organizational skills with the ability to juggle several projects independently.
What the role is like
The ideal person is naturally interested in people, culture, storytelling, and consumer behavior. You should be good at noticing patterns, identifying strong content opportunities, and turning ideas into engaging campaigns. The role combines strategic thinking with hands-on execution, from planning concepts to editing video and writing copy.
Additional information
This is a part-time, long-term remote position with an expected commitment of about 20 to 30 hours per month to start. The company hopes to increase the hours over time as the role grows.
Applicants can be based globally, including outside the United States. The founder and company are located in Los Angeles, California.
A weekly video meeting is required.
