Key Responsibilities

  • Create comprehensive functional testing scenarios and detailed test cases.
  • Effectively manage project deadlines and maintain a well-organized schedule within a dynamic federal environment.
  • Analyze and produce intricate test plans, develop test case data, and construct procedures and scripts based on functional specifications.
  • Execute test cases, coordinate testing activities, log and verify defects, perform debugging, and document findings.

Qualifications

  • At least 5 years of experience working with Medicare claims and/or appeals programs, covering both pre- and post-adjudication processes.
  • Over 10 years of overall business analysis experience involving requirements facilitation, storyboarding, functional specifications, and use case diagramming.
  • Proven background in Medicare claims operations, including claims intake, adjudication, and downstream workflows.
  • Familiarity with Momentum functional and technical system testing is advantageous.
  • Experience working within Agile methodologies.
  • Skilled in facilitating requirements sessions involving business, technical, and operational stakeholders.
  • Ability to communicate requirements clearly to diverse audiences, both technical and non-technical.
  • Strong verbal and written communication capabilities.
  • Experience with business case development and thorough requirements analysis.
  • Proficient in developing use cases, user stories, and functional documentation.
  • Competency in interpreting functional and technical architecture design documents and analyzing test requirements.
  • Experience supporting audit, compliance, or regulatory reporting efforts is a plus.
  • Strong coordination, communication, reporting, and analytical skills.
  • Knowledge of testing Java, .Net, web applications, SOA, and ETL-based systems.
  • Some Java development experience.
  • Ability to prepare test data for various case scenarios.
  • Exposure to multiple SDLC models such as Waterfall, Iterative, and Agile.
  • Strong proficiency in SQL, Oracle, and MS Access.
