About the Company
Prava is a venture-backed startup that supports physical, occupational, ABA, and speech therapists in building and growing independent private practices with AI-enabled infrastructure. The company provides the operational backbone clinicians need, including software, credentialing, billing, referral management, and administrative support, so they can stay focused on patient care.
Role Overview
Prava is looking for an Operations & Strategy Manager to help define, drive, and deliver the company’s most important priorities. This is a highly cross-functional, hands-on individual contributor position that sits at the intersection of strategy, operations, and technology. The role involves working closely with executive leadership to take ownership of key initiatives from concept through execution and to produce measurable business impact.
The work will vary significantly from month to month. Responsibilities may include redesigning essential business processes, improving core metrics, assessing new market opportunities, launching operational initiatives, or collaborating with Engineering to create internal tools and AI-powered experiences that improve both internal workflows and the customer journey.
Success in this position depends on strong analytical ability, disciplined problem-solving, curiosity, sound judgment, clear communication, and a strong sense of accountability. The ideal person will be comfortable working with data, partnering with frontline teams to solve operational problems, collaborating with engineers on new capabilities, and presenting findings and recommendations to executive leadership. This is a role for builders who like to challenge existing systems, work through ambiguity, and convert ideas into tangible results.
The position offers broad visibility across the business and the chance to contribute meaningfully as Prava continues to scale. If you enjoy working across functions, learning unfamiliar areas of the business, and using technology and AI to improve how companies operate, this role may be a strong fit.
Responsibilities
- Lead major strategic and operational projects from problem framing through execution, working closely with executive leaders and teams across the organization.
- Partner with frontline and back-office teams to understand operational issues directly, uncover root causes, create scalable solutions, and support adoption through SOPs, training, quality benchmarks, and performance tracking.
- Use data, customer insights, and structured analysis to spot opportunities for better business and operational performance, then turn those insights into measurable improvements.
- Create dashboards, analytical models, financial projections, and business cases that improve visibility into company performance and support leadership decisions.
- Work with Product and Engineering to design, test, and launch AI agents, internal tools, and workflow automations that improve efficiency and the client experience.
- Coordinate cross-functional work across Operations, Product, Engineering, Revenue Cycle, Provider Success, Customer Support, Growth, and other teams to solve complex problems and launch new capabilities.
- Handle additional high-priority strategic and operational work as business needs change.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of experience in Strategy, Business Operations, Product Operations, Corporate Strategy, Management Consulting, Investment Banking, Private Equity, or another highly analytical role.
- Strong intellectual curiosity and a genuine interest in understanding how every part of the business works, with the ability to learn quickly in new domains.
- A practical, resourceful builder mindset with comfort in ambiguity, a drive to create structure, and the ability to solve difficult problems and scale solutions.
- Strong ownership mentality, combining strategic thinking with hands-on execution, initiative, accountability, and a willingness to do the work personally.
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving skills, with the judgment to make sound decisions using data.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build trust and collaborate effectively with frontline staff, cross-functional partners, customers, and senior leadership.
- Interest in using technology and AI to build internal tools, improve operations, and create better client experiences.
- Healthcare or healthcare technology experience is an advantage, though it is not mandatory.
