Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Product Manager to join our Solutions team within the CISSEE sub-region, specifically based in Yerevan, Armenia. The role focuses on developing, managing, and supporting consumer-facing product capabilities such as card benefits and value propositions. The candidate will collaborate with teams across the region to drive product strategy, execution, and sales support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and sustain an overarching consumer product strategy tailored to the Armenian market to address client needs and differentiate competitively.
  • Offer expertise throughout the consumer value proposition (CVP) lifecycle including sales process assistance, contract management, reporting, billing, and post-sale support.
  • Collect and analyze feedback from markets and banks to recommend enhancements and introduce new products either market-wide or customized for banks.
  • Identify opportunities to improve user experience, communication materials, and engagement channels aimed at optimizing cardholder satisfaction.
  • Engage with Armenian banks to understand their unique needs and develop tailored solutions leveraging local and cross-border offerings.
  • Conduct market and competitor analyses to ensure relevance and innovation in product offerings.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Business Development, Marketing, and other internal teams to align on product delivery and operational readiness.
  • Prepare and deliver impactful presentations for internal and external stakeholders including quarterly business reviews and proposals.
  • Monitor project timelines and key performance indicators to ensure on-time execution and achievement of business objectives related to value-added services (VAS) and customer growth.
  • Provide ongoing post-launch support, troubleshooting issues and continuously enhancing the product based on user feedback.
  • Contribute strategically to the product portfolio’s evolution in alignment with long-term goals.
  • Lead projects to meet product milestones and revenue targets for Armenia as part of the CISSEE region product strategy.

Professional and Technical Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree is required.
  • Strong hands-on knowledge of the Armenian market.
  • 5 to 7 years of experience in Product Management, Loyalty/Rewards, Analytics, Card Products, or Payments.
  • Demonstrated success in product development, launch, and/or management of loyalty or consumer propositions within financial services, retail banking, or payments sectors.
  • Solid understanding of product lifecycle management and agile project methodologies.
  • Proficient analytical skills with a data-driven approach.
  • Systems thinking and well-versed in software development cycles including API and web services technologies.
  • Excellent proficiency in Microsoft Office with strong skills in PowerPoint presentation creation.
  • Fluent in Armenian and English; Russian language skills preferred.
  • Strong oral and written communication abilities.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously and collaboratively within matrix organizational structures.
  • Experience engaging external stakeholders including vendors, clients, and regulators.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as required.

Additional Information

This position is based in Yerevan and reports to the Product Lead for Georgia and Armenia located in Tbilisi. The role involves collaboration with various Visa teams and frequent interaction with diverse stakeholders including financial institutions, processors, agents, merchants, and vendors. It requires strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to operate effectively in a multicultural, matrixed environment.
