Role Overview
This position serves as the Lead Engineer responsible for coordinating activities across various engineering disciplines. The role demands strong expertise in discipline engineering, encompassing design codes, legislative standards, and best current engineering practices. Understanding client requirements, resolving design challenges, and devising effective solutions are fundamental duties.
Key Responsibilities
- Independently evaluate, organize, and prioritize work, subject to internal review and approval.
- Collaborate with Project Specialists and Lead Engineers to synchronize project efforts.
- Manage and coordinate technical activities both within and outside the organization.
- Develop comprehensive supply schedules segmented by tiers and areas.
- Align structural supply plans with erection priorities and site readiness.
- Handle Purchase Order management effectively.
- Engage with fabrication vendors to coordinate raw material procurement, fabrication, and painting progress.
- Monitor fabrication progress by material type and dispatch status against planned timelines.
- Oversee logistics and transportation of structural materials, ensuring smooth movement considering project priorities.
