Position Summary
We are seeking a Manager of Learning and Development to lead and optimize employee onboarding along with the creation, implementation, and evaluation of learning programs that elevate performance, foster career advancement, and strengthen team capabilities. This role requires close collaboration with company leaders to assess training necessities, support employee experience, and enhance People Operations initiatives while promoting a culture of ongoing learning.
This role is hybrid-based, requiring presence in our Denver office at least monthly, and additional visits as needed for leadership meetings, team events, and onboarding activities. The manager will also tailor approaches to meet the diverse learning and compliance needs of clinical and business teams within a digital health setting.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and enhance the entire onboarding process to ensure new hires receive essential knowledge, tools, and support for success.
- Create and deliver orientation programs that align employees with Karoo's mission and values.
- Collaborate with hiring managers to develop role-specific onboarding plans, track performance metrics, and facilitate smooth integration.
- Manage Continuing Medical Education (CME) tracking, ensuring clinicians meet licensure and board certification requirements with accurate record-keeping.
- Coordinate with clinical teams to support credentialing, onboarding compliance, and ongoing monitoring for licensed providers.
- Assist in analyzing employee feedback and learning metrics to identify improvement opportunities for engagement and retention.
- Help maintain People operations policies and documentation to support company growth and consistency.
- Provide logistic support for onsite events such as leadership visits and company-wide meetings at Denver and other locations.
Candidate Profile
- A minimum of five years’ experience in learning and development, talent management, training, or organizational development.
- Demonstrated expertise designing and facilitating training for clinical care, operations, and technology teams.
- Experience handling nursing licensure, continuing education tracking, and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements across states.
- Highly organized, empathetic, and pragmatic with exceptional communication and sound judgment skills.
- Strong abilities in project coordination and stakeholder management.
- Fluency in written, verbal, and presentation communication skills.
- Familiarity with digital health environments is preferred.
