Manager, International Media Strategy

Overview

The National Football League (NFL) is seeking a Manager to join its International Media Strategy & Business Development team based in London. This role is focused on managing and executing strategies related to international media licensing and partnerships to increase the NFL's global reach and value.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze global media market dynamics and trends to influence the international media licensing strategy and keep abreast of sports media rights worldwide.
• Assess commercial prospects with media partners outside the US using in-depth audience and financial research.
• Monitor changes in media consumption and sports trends to adapt approaches accordingly.
• Collaborate with senior leadership and internal stakeholders to create and negotiate new media contracts.
• Manage ongoing relationships with selected partners to ensure fulfillment of contract terms and mutual success.
• Prepare strategic presentations for senior NFL leadership and club ownership as part of league-wide planning.
• Lead full deal cycles including prospecting, structuring rights packages, negotiating terms, and closing agreements in designated markets.
• Support a productive team environment that promotes efficiency and professional growth.

Qualifications

• 4 to 5 years of experience in strategic or business development roles within media, digital companies, consulting, private equity, venture capital, or investment banking (particularly in Technology, Media, and Telecommunications).
• Bachelor's degree required; MBA is preferred.
