Role Overview
The Manager in Training (MIT) programme is an 18-month fast-track development opportunity crafted for ambitious individuals aiming to become future leaders in hospitality. This immersive programme provides hands-on operational experience and leadership development through cross-departmental exposure, real business projects, and participation in decision-making.
Participants gain insights into service mastery, commercial acumen, and people management within a prestigious luxury setting. Each trainee benefits from mentorship and peer support, structured feedback, and coaching to facilitate continuous growth and clear career milestones. On completing the programme, MITs are prepared to assume supervisory or junior management roles equipped with both operational and leadership skills.
Key Responsibilities
- Experience rapid rotations across multiple hotel departments to gain broad operational knowledge
- Develop expertise in key front-line roles before progressing to supervisor or acting assistant manager positions to practice leadership abilities
- Manage personal learning and assigned projects using provided tools such as training syllabi, manuals, and experience maps
Qualifications and Attributes
- Preferably holds a degree in Hospitality Management or similar qualification
- Demonstrates leadership potential and ability to motivate others
- Shows genuine curiosity and passion for luxury hospitality
- Self-driven, proactive, and able to create opportunities independently
- Prior experience at Four Seasons or another leading luxury hotel brand is advantageous
- Note: This role is restricted to Singaporean citizens due to visa regulations

Schedule and Hours
