About the role
KPMG New Zealand is seeking outstanding consulting professionals to join its Auckland team at Advisor, Senior Advisor, and Assistant Manager level. The role sits within a group that works with public and private sector clients to identify the key drivers of value and deliver improvements that are both measurable and durable.

What you will do
- Lead workstreams and project teams while contributing expertise across a variety of client assignments.
- Help deliver KPMG services successfully and support business development through proposal preparation, knowledge sharing, and methodology development.
- Support large transformation programmes by helping define requirements, providing project management support, and contributing change management capability.
- Work across several projects at once while maintaining speed, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Enhance KPMG’s reputation through strong judgment, high-quality work, subject matter expertise, and innovative thinking.
What you should bring
- Previous consulting experience is strongly preferred.
- A proven record of building long-term client relationships, winning new work, and growing existing accounts.
- A relevant tertiary qualification.
- Experience coaching and supporting junior colleagues.
- Ability to work effectively with project team members and maintain productive relationships.
- A proactive, enthusiastic, and practical approach with a strong sense of ownership.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving ability.
- Comfort working in multidisciplinary teams.
- Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
