Maintenance Team Associate

Position Overview

The Maintenance Team Associate will engage in a systematic cleaning program to maintain a sanitary and secure environment for both customers and employees at Walmart Canada in Edson, Alberta.

Key Duties

• Collaborate and communicate effectively with the Stocking 3 Coach and fellow team members to follow a detailed cleaning schedule.
• Adhere strictly to Food Safety protocols and maintain proper cold chain processes.
• Carry out prompt cleaning tasks across all Fresh Departments, including coolers, freezers, and display fixtures.
• Support the inspection and upkeep of maintenance and cleaning equipment to ensure operational efficiency and adequate supply levels.
• Promote safety by completing all mandatory in-store certifications and adhering to company policies and safety procedures.
• Perform thorough floor cleaning duties such as mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, and carpet maintenance in all non-sales floor spaces as needed.

Compensation

The starting hourly rate for this role is $16.45 CAD.
