Maintenance Manager

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced Maintenance Manager to lead maintenance operations in the United Arab Emirates (Dubai/Abu Dhabi). This role involves overseeing maintenance activities, enhancing equipment reliability, and ensuring safe and efficient operation of facilities and assets. You will guide a skilled maintenance team, implement preventive maintenance programs, and contribute to the organization's long-term operational success.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise daily maintenance tasks across various facilities and equipment.
• Design and execute preventive and predictive maintenance strategies.
• Maximize equipment uptime, reliability, and operational efficiency.
• Organize maintenance schedules to reduce downtime to a minimum.
• Lead and mentor maintenance technicians, offering coaching and performance evaluations.
• Oversee maintenance budgets, inventory of spare parts, and procurement processes.
• Collaborate with operations, engineering teams, and external contractors to fulfill business requirements.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
• Investigate causes of equipment failures and develop corrective measures.
• Monitor maintenance performance metrics and identify areas for improvement.
• Generate maintenance reports, KPI tracking, and operational updates for senior management.
• Foster a workplace culture prioritizing safety, quality, and operational excellence.

Qualifications and Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in maintenance management or related engineering/facilities maintenance roles.
• Strong understanding of preventive maintenance, asset management, and reliability concepts.
• Proven ability to manage maintenance teams, contractors, and technical projects.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and planning capabilities.
• Strong analytical thinking and problem-solving skills.
• Familiarity with Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS), ERP platforms, and maintenance software is beneficial.
• Knowledgeable in health, safety, and environmental regulations applicable to maintenance operations.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities and work effectively under pressure.
• Professional proficiency in English; knowledge of Arabic is considered an asset.
