Loss Prevention Executive

Position Overview

The Loss Prevention Executive role is based in Kolkata, West Bengal, and involves comprehensive security operations across the property. This includes patrolling premises, securing rooms, assisting guests with room access, and managing emergency response initiatives. The role requires monitoring surveillance equipment and alarms, regulating access to sensitive areas, and providing support during various emergency situations including administering first aid or CPR when necessary.

Key Duties

• Conduct safety inspections and emergency drills regularly.
• Lead investigations, interviews, and audits related to key control.
• Maintain confidentiality of all reports and release information exclusively to authorized personnel.
• Defuse conflicts and manage disturbances in line with company protocols.
• Escort unauthorized individuals off the premises and ensure compliance with relevant alcohol laws.
• Provide documentation and support to employees and coordinate assistance during emergencies.
• Assist management in training, motivating, and coaching the team, acting as a role model and the first contact for the Guarantee of Fair Treatment and Open Door Policy.
• Adhere strictly to all company policies including reporting of accidents and unsafe conditions.
• Deliver exceptional guest service, demonstrating professional communication and relationship-building skills.
• Maintain readiness for physical duties including thorough visual inspections and movement across various terrains and conditions throughout shifts.
• Perform additional reasonable tasks as assigned by supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent is mandatory.
• Minimum of two years' relevant experience in loss prevention or a related field.
• At least one year in a supervisory capacity.
• Capability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive situations professionally.
• Ability to perform physically demanding activities such as lifting weights up to 50 pounds unassisted, maneuvering through confined spaces, and standing for long durations.
• Clear visual acuity for reading and inspection tasks and proficiency with computers and point-of-sale systems.
